About Worksheet

Grade 8
Triangle Theorems
8.G.B.7

For 8 graders, find the area and perimeter of a right triangle worksheet can be very helpful in understanding the concept of area and perimeter which can help them to use the concept in real-life situations.

The first step in finding the perimeter of a right triangle is to add up the lengths of all three sides. The formula for the perimeter of any triangle is P = a + b + c, where a, b, and c are the lengths of the three sides. In the case of a right triangle, one of the sides is the hypotenuse, which is the longest side and is opposite to the right angle.

The other two sides are called the legs. To find the area of a right triangle, you need to use the formula A = 1/2 bh, where b is the base and h is the height. In the case of a right triangle, one of the legs is the base, and the other leg is the height. Therefore, the area of a right triangle is A = 1/2 (leg1 x leg2).
